Sleeping In
the Park – In the Dark
The last of three “Family Camping in the Park”
events this
year will be on
September 11th, 2010
We
are planning to have a cookout and games.
Families should bring their tents, sleeping bags, flashlights and food.
Save
money this year, plan this year’s vacation at the Dallastown Park!

Trick or Treat and “Witch Watch”
October
30th from 6 to 8 pm.
Last year we started a “Witch Watch” with volunteers
patrolling the town
ensuring our children’s night of Trick or Treating is fun and
safe. |

Let’s have a
parade……Halloween Parade
Thursday night, October 21st at 7 pm
The
Dallastown Halloween Parade will be marching from the high school, down
South Pleasant Ave to Main St. and then head West on Main St. Marching
bands, horses, antique cars, motorcycles, baton and dance groups, scouts,
churches, businesses and individuals dressed in costumes are just some of
the participants expected.
Food
and merchandise vendors will be at the high school and line the streets.
Neighbors
from all around will come to see one of the best parades in the county.

early. The deadline to register is October 1st this year. |

Kids Halloween Party
Thursday,October 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
at the
Dallastown Elementary School cafeteria
Children should
come dressed in their costumes to win prizes. There will also be food to
snack on and games to play.

Christmas
in Dallastown
Saturday, November 6th from
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
It’s not too early to start thinking
about Christmas.
Last year we had our first ever
Christmas in Dallastown. We had over 40 vendors and local businesses
participate and it was a real success!!!
We are looking to expand the
participation this year. In addition to all the businesses in town, we will
have vendors located at the Borough office, Historical site, Dallastown
Elementary School, the Dallastown Fire Company as well as area churches who
are participating.
If you are interested in participating
in Christmas in Dallastown, please contact the Recreation Board at
324-0899
or you can pick up a registration form at the Borough office and on the
website. The cost is $25.00 to register.

We’re Going to Light Up The
Town
Saturday, November 27th
at the American Legion
We
are looking for a donation of a 15’ evergreen tree.
If you
have a tree and would like to donate it, please call the Recreation Board at
324-0899. |
