1.
Rental property owners are required to register every rental unit within the Borough by January
31st of each year. A
registration form will be available in the Borough Office and on the
website under Applications/Forms.
A $50.00 per unit registration fee will be due annually at the
time of registration. An
updated tenant list should be included with your registration form.
2. Inspections
of each rental unit will continue on their current schedule of every
other year. The initial
inspection fee has been included in your annual registration costs and
no fees are due at the time of inspection; however, re-inspections after
the initial inspection will be a charge of $25.00 per unit.
3.
Inspection cancellations of less than 24 hours and no-shows will be
subject to a $25.00 charge.
4.
Failure to comply with
these changes will be subject to the fines and penalties stated in
Section 151-19 of the Dallastown Borough Code regarding Rental
Properties.
