The Dallastown Borough ACT 537 Sewage Facilities Plan, which has been approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), provides for the extension of a public sewer system to the Colonial Heights development.
The plan calls for the installation of a low-pressure sewer system, utilizing grinder pumps for 75 homes currently utilizing On Lot Disposal Systems (Septic).
June 2025 – The proposed plan is currently under review with DEP for the required permits. The borough plans to apply with PENNVEST to secure the necessary funds once permits have been obtained. Currently, the timeline has the project going out for bid during fall of 2025, with construction most likely taking place early, 2026.
As future milestones are met, please stayed tuned for additional updates, or by calling the borough office. Properties affected by the sewer project will be notified of any public meetings regarding the sewer project.
